So we have an adventurer and a writer, one man and one woman. But who's who?

A crisis!
We had a crisis. But we solved it. So fast it wouldn't even make a good plot point.
Daylight Savings
Soooo - it has come to our attention that this weekend is spring ahead, which means our 60 hour experiment is actually only 59 hours. Seems like we're going to be one hour tired-er than we planned!
Status Update
So. Things are looking pretty good. In two hours we've picked a genre, period, and characters out of a hat (cup); come up with a basic story; and written a logline. We've also eaten dinner (v important) and are still friends. Good start. Funnily enough, even though this was all basically random, we're working with … Continue reading Status Update
Logline
We did in fact get to a logline a mere two hours into our endeavor, keeping us on track for a screenplay in 57 hours. Here it is: When their plane goes down over Prohibition-era Kentucky, a sharp-tongued adventurer and her reluctant biographer are forced to set aside their animosity and work together to get … Continue reading Logline
Adding a lead!

So naturally we made a list and we're gonna pull some names out of the hat (cup). For lead, of which we'll pick one: Flapper Adventurer/pilot Writer/artist Movie director For supporting, of which we'll pick four: Working man … Continue reading Characters
Onward and Upward

We've still got the fundamental problem of not having, you know, a story -- but one … Continue reading Onward and Upward
Our first oops….
So we pulled "Period Comedy" out of the hat (or cup, to be technical about it). ("Period" in, historical period, not l'origine du monde.) This revelation was followed immediately by a rather shocked silence and some bumbling, inelegantly captured on video. Barely out of the gate and we've already hit a snag. What exactly is a period … Continue reading Our first oops….
It begins!
So we pulled a genre! It's a doozy. More on the ramifications in a minute.
