Oh man, swashbucklers are fun. We’ve got our characters pulled (from devious handmaidens to dastardly ministers), our heroes named, and our vaguely Continental world (mostly) built. And we have a title and a log line!
Title:
The Lady Minerva
Logline:
When the young King of Livonia is kidnapped, a dashing noblewoman sets out to rescue him.
Pretty simple, and pretty fun. We’re excited. It’s a lot of work, though — there’s a ton of setup involved before we can even start outlining. But we have the narrative broadly sketched, which is good, and we’re feeling confident.
And so, after a long week, to bed.
